A valid passport and visa are required for missionary work in Gabon.

Passport Requirements:

Original passport and one photocopy of passport information and signature page. The passport must be signed, valid for 6 months beyond stay in Gabon, with at least one blank passport page available for Gabon visa stamp. Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for Gabon visas.


Gabon Visa Application Form:

One original signed Gabon visa application form and one copy. After placing your order, fill in the application form provided in the Visa Application Kit.


Photo Requirements:

Two recent 2 x 2 passport type photograph(s), in color, front view and with a plain/white background. Photos should be stapled or glued to each visa application.

OR - you can upload a photo when you place your order, instead of providing physical passport photos.


Letter Of Invitation:

A letter of invitation from sponsor/host company in Gabon explaining the relationship to the applicant and the purpose of travel to Gabon. In addition, the letter must indicate the length of stay, place of stay, and host’s contact information in Gabon.


Business Cover Letter:

Letter from sponsoring organization in the US, on letterhead, introducing the applicant, indicating the applicant's status/position held, and clearly stating the purpose of visit to Gabon.The business letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant and must provide detailed contact information in Gabon.

The Consulate of Gabon requires an official business letter to support your application. Hotel Confirmation:

A copy of confirmed hotel reservation(s). If staying in various hotels, please provide copies of each reservation. A letter from inviting family member or friend is required if they are providing accommodations to the applicant. The letter must include date of applicant's arrival, length of stay and host's contact information including telephone number and full home address. If applying in New York, this letter must be notarized.


Medical Requirements:

Proof of vaccination against yellow fever (Not required in New York).
